Hungarian ForMin thanks Czechs for support in dispute with EU

Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto thanked his Czech counterpart Tomas Petricek for the lower house's criticism of the European Parliament's (EP) vote to take action against Hungary for undermining EU values, Szijjarto told reporters after their meeting today. The two ministers also stressed the importance of bilateral cooperation within the Visegrad Four (V4) group (the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Poland). Szijjarto said the V4 group was the most effective political alliance in the EU and it was capable of pursuing its goals.
