August 17th, 2018
Hundreds of people came to bid their farewell to Patrik Stepanek, a Czech soldier killed on a mission in Afghanistan, at his funeral in Plzen today, which was held with military honours, starting with a requiem mass and a flight of military planes. Stepanek, 24, was one of the three Czech soldiers who died in a suicide bomber's attack on August 5, while deployed within the allied mission in Afghanistan.
