A total of six Arabian horses were sold at the prestigious Pride of Poland auction in the country's celebrated stud farm of Janów Podlaski in eastern Poland on Sunday, netting their owners a combined 501,000 euros. A grey mare named Parmana fetched the auction's highest price, 180,000 euros. Eleven thoroughbred Arabian mares from stud farms in Janów Podlaski, Michałów and Białka, and one from a private breeder were put up for sale during this year's auction. The event attracted many horse lovers and breeders from Poland and abroad.
