Head of team investigating 'Gorilla Case' to leave police corps

July 30th, 2019

Lukas Kyselica, head of the team investigating one of the biggest scandals in Slovakia's modern history, also known as the 'Gorilla case', has filed his letter of resignation from the Police Corps. The scandal took its name from an allegedly leaked 2005-06 secret service wiretapping file on politicians, officials and business executives discussing kickbacks in return for procurement and privatisation contracts.
