The government has submitted an amendment to the law on informational self-determination and freedom of information to harmonise legislation with the EU's new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), parliament's website said on Wednesday. Under the amendment, SMEs violating the regulation for the first time would be warned but not sanctioned, it said.
