Govt: Slovakia better prepared for potential gas crisis than in 2009

Slovakia is better prepared for a potential gas crisis than it was in 2009, the Economy Ministry said in its latest report on ensuring gas supplies and solutions to potential emergency situations, discussed and acknowledged by the Cabinet at its regular session on Wednesday. "Based on measures that have been adopted and are listed in the document, we can state that the Slovak Republic is better prepared than in 2009, if the situation with the suspension of Russian gas supplies via Ukraine is repeated," reads the ministry's report.
