Gaz-System, Eustream sign agreement on Polish-Slovak gas pipeline

Slovak gas transport company Eustream and Polish gas transport network operator Gaz-System have signed an agreement on the construction of the Polish-Slovak gas interconnection project, Eustream reported on its website on Tuesday. The planned Polish-Slovak project, which will be funded by the EU, concerns a gas pipeline of which approximately 59 kilometres will be located in Poland and 106 kilometres in Slovakia. The construction work should start in the second half of 2018 and the project is expected to be concluded at the end of 2021.
