Foreign Minister Petricek to leave post

Tomas Petricek confirmed at a press conference on Monday that CSSD chairman and Deputy PM Jan Hamacek would submit a proposal for his dismissal as foreign minister to Prime Minister Andrej Babis. However, Petricek said he did not know whether Hamacek had already done so or when Babis was to meet President Milos Zeman to propose his dismissal to him. Petricek added that he expected this to happen today. Petricek also said he had not noticed any particular criticism of his work from Hamacek and that he considered his dismissal from the post of top diplomat a political decision.
