Cheap foreign labour coming to Poland from such countries as Ukraine or Bangladesh is not undermining Polish businesses' motivation to invest in modern equipment, Investment and Development Minister Jerzy Kwiecinski said in an interview with PAP. "Demand for labour will grow and I believe it will not be fully compensated for by the inflow of workers from other countries, that is Ukraine or such places as Bangladesh. What we need is not only a certain number of workers, but workers with the right qualifications," Minister Kwiecinski said. "Therefore, we will not avoid the need to invest, that is ensuring productivity growth through better use of modern technologies," the minister added.
