Foreign dominance in Polish media 'unhealthy' - official

Deputy Culture Minister Jaroslaw Sellin said that "the dominant role" of foreign capital in some sections of the Polish media was "unhealthy". Asked in a radio interview about the government's plans to decentralise the country's media industry, Sellin pointed to France and Germany, saying Paris and Berlin took steps to prevent excessive concentration of media ownership in their own countries.
