Nine out of 13 Constitutional Court judges will see their tenure expire on February 16, and it is important to have parliament elect new candidates for President Andrej Kiska to select from and subsequently appoint new judges so as not to jeopardise the activities of the Constitutional Court, one of the authors of the Slovak Constitution Lubomir Fogas told Tablet.Tv in an interview on Friday. "We're talking about the election of nine judges, quite a lot, and if they're not elected and appointed on time, I'm convinced it might have international political ramifications. I don't want that to happen," Fogas said.
