Had a general election taken place in January, it would have been won by the governing Smer-SD party on 22.5 percent of the votes, ahead of the Opposition Freedom and Solidarity (SaS) on 12.3 percent and We Are Family-Boris Kollar on 10.4 percent, TASR learnt from the Focus agency, which conducted the poll on a sample of 1,012 respondents between January 16-23. The Ordinary People (OLaNO) would have followed on 10 percent of the votes and far-right People's Party Our Slovakia (LSNS) on 8.4 percent.
