FM: Most EU countries want to avoid Article 7 vote

Polish Foreign Minister Jacek Czaputowicz said on Friday that most EU member states would prefer to avoid a vote on Article 7 proceedings against Poland over the rule of law. However, net contributors like France, Germany and the Benelux countries want to "stigmatise" Poland to weaken its position in the upcoming budget negotiations, he said.
