First nuclear power block could be launched in 2029, says energy minister

If a decision on investing in nuclear power is made this year, then the realistic date for launching the first block would be the year 2029, Energy Minister Krzysztof Tchorzewski said Wednesday on the sidelines of the Economic Forum in Krynica, in southern Poland. The second block would be created five years later, and the third after another five years, he added.
