Film production in Czechia returns to level before pandemic-fund

Film shooting in the Czech Republic has returned to the level before the COVID pandemic in 2019, which was record high thanks to the system of incentives bringing nine billion crowns of foreign investments to the country, the State Cinematography Fund (SFK) said in a press release today. However, to again boost the inflow of foreign film crews to the country, the fund would like the incentives system budget to be raised from 800 million crowns by another 500 million at least like in 2019.
