Ruling Fidesz is to submit a draft resolution rejecting the European Parliament's (EP) recent decision which imposes a mandatory migrant relocation scheme without upper limits on all EU member states, the party's parliamentary group leader said on Monday. Hungary's parliament wants to have a say in what relocation scheme the EU approves, Gergely Gulyas told a press briefing. "The mandatory quota scheme has already failed; there is no point in forcing it … Migration issues are exclusively a matter of national competence", Gulyas said.
