Fewer smokers in Czech Rep

The number of non-smokers grew by 3.5 percent in 2017 in the Czech Republic year-on-year and 5 percent more people wanted to quit the habit, according to an annual research by the The National Institute of Public Health (NIPH). In 2017, there were 25 percent smokers in the country, whose number declined by 6 percent since 2012.
