Fewer Czechs interested in Syria in late 2018 - poll

January 9th, 2019

Czechs are losing interest in the situation in Syria as 23 percent said they followed the fights, which started in 2011, in December, signalling a 12-percent drop against the April figures, a CVVM agency's poll released today showed. Most people continue to support the Czech Republic's involvement in the conflict solution through maintaining diplomatic relations with the Syrian government, charitable collections, sending doctors' missions and Czech representatives' involvement in political talks.
