Favipiravir for COVID-19 delivered to Prague's hospital

The Thomayer Hospital in Prague received the experimental Japanese drug Favipiravir on Tuesday and plans to administer it to one COVID-19 patient so far, hospital spokesman Petr Sulek has told CTK. The patient has been hospitalised at the pneumology (lung disease) clinic with a quite serious course of the disease since April 27. He was admitted with severe pneumonia, Sulek added.
