Eurobarometer: 80 pc of Slovaks declare themselves European citizens

The latest Eurobarometer survey presented on Monday by the European Commission shows that Slovakia is one of the countries in the European Union whose citizens trust the EU less than the EU-wide average, although as many as 80 percent of them feel like European citizens. The Commission has pointed out that these are the best results since the June 2014 Eurobarometer survey, with citizens' confidence in the EU reaching the highest level in five years and remaining above the level of confidence in national governments and parliaments.
