The European Investment Fund (EIF) and Poland's state-owned development bank BGK have agreed to double to PLN 4 bln the financial support offered to 18,000 Polish small and medium-sized companies (SMEs) under the so-called 'Juncker plan', BGK said on Friday. The so-called 'Juncker plan' has been prepared by the European Commission (EC) and the European Investment Bank (EIB) to revive investments in the European economy, with a focus on infrastructure and small and medium-sized companies.
