The Bulgarian presidency confirmed the timetable of a February meeting of EU ministers for European affairs which includes discussion about Poland in the context of the Article 7 procedure triggered by the European Commission, PAP has learned. As PAP was told by diplomatic sources in the EU, on Feb. 27, the day for which the meeting of the General Affairs Council is scheduled, the commission is expected to present the situation regarding the rule of law in Poland. The meeting will take place shortly after Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki holds talks with European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker, scheduled for Feb. 23.
