EU Council's Tusk to testify in Smolensk hearing

Former Polish PM and current European Council head Donald Tusk will testify in a hearing on the 2010 Smolensk air disaster, in which the accused is his former chancellery head, Tomasz Arabski, a Warsaw district court announced Thursday. The court's judge, Hubert Gasior, said Tusk would probably be questioned towards the end of the trial to prevent his possible re-summoning by the court if new circumstances in the case emerged following an earlier testimony.
