The draft of the future EU budget in the form proposed by the European Commission will not be adopted, Deputy Foreign Minister Konrad Szymański told a public radio broadcaster on Wednesday. According to the EC proposals on the EU budget, cohesion funds for Poland would be 23 percent lower than at present. "We can be sure that this draft will not be adopted, and not only because Poland has (...) justified doubts, whether it is a good political plan, but also because (...) from today the matter becomes the responsibility of the member states, not the European Commission," he argued.
