Reducing unemployment, building childcare facilities and reducing red tape for entrepreneurs are among the main goals set by the Government in its National Reform Programme for the next two years, which was approved by Peter Pellegrini's (Smer-SD) Cabinet on Wednesday. Boosting the quality of primary education, the labour market and health care remain Slovakia's top priorities. The Government wants to continue in the positive trend of reducing the unemployment rate by focusing on the long-term unemployed. The Cabinet further wants to start constructing facilities for children up to three years of age in order to make it easier for mothers to return to the labour market.
