The European Commission (EC) will not withdraw its charges from the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU), a Polish public radio portal cited EU Justice Commissioner Vera Jourova as saying. Jourova also said the EC would not backtrack on Article 7 procedures, the portal said, despite the fact that an amendment to the Supreme Court law complying with a ruling of the CJEU imposing interim measures on the Supreme Court, passed through parliament last week and is now awaiting the president's signature.
