Duo charged with attempting to bribe state secretary to stay in custody

Two men identified only as Peter Ch. and Miroslav S., who tried to bribe Agriculture Ministry state secretary Martin Fecko last year and were subsequently remanded in custody, will not be released from detention for the time being, the Supreme Court ruled on Wednesday. The Supreme Court thus overruled a decision of the Specialised Criminal Court, which decided to release them in March. Both men have been charged with bribery and preparation of money laundering.
