Incumbent President Andrzej Duda would win over Poland's former Prime Minister and current European Council President Donald Tusk in the second round of the presidential election, according to a survey by the Pollster Research Institute for the Super Express daily. Tusk received the support of 49 percent of respondents while Duda got 51 percent. According to media expert Jarosław Flis, "this is not a promising sign for Duda." "Let's remember that former President Bronisław Komorowski, two years before the elections, crushed competition in the polls," Flis said. If, however, Tusk stood against the chairman of the ruling Law and Justice party (PiS) Jarosław Kaczyński, he would win a significant majority of votes, the paper said.
