Dolezal: Transformation of Post Office unpopular but necessary step

The Slovak Post Office will undergo the biggest transformation in its history, a necessary step to save the company, Transport Minister Andrej Dolezal said after the cabinet meeting on Wednesday, explaining that the institution needs to be prepared for the digital age. Dolezal said the Post Office needs to be perceived in the context of developments in the postal market. "The market has changed significantly over the past few decades, but it was as if the Slovak Post Office fell asleep in this period," he said.
