Defence Minister Peter Gajdos welcomed on Friday 42 soldiers who returned from the EUFOR ALTHEA mission in Bosnia and Herzegovina and from the UNTSO mission in the Middle East. The welcome ceremony took place at the training battalion base in Martin (Zilina region). "I'm extraordinarily glad they've met all tasks in a responsible manner, thus representing not only the Slovak Army, but, naturally, also their homeland. I traditionally welcome all those who return; however, this time I must state that major Peter Pavlovsky is deceased, let's honour his memory," Gajdos told TASR.
