Danko: UN pact on migration a principal issue for SNS

Parliamentary Chair Andrej Danko confirmed in Poprad on Friday that the UN Global Compact on Migration is a matter of principle for SNS. Danko reacted this way to Miroslav Lajcak's announcement that he will resign as foreign and European affairs minister. "I'm always saddened by such a situation. Although some of [Lajcak's] statements went beyond diplomatic vocabulary, I think that we enjoy fair ties. We've been communicating and will communicate together. That's the way life is, no one can hold any post for life," he said.
