The disposal of dangerous and illegally stored waste, probably originating from a Polish company, in a hall in Stare Mesto, north Moravia, will start on Tuesday, Frydek-Mystek town mayor Michal Pobucky told journalists today. By that time, the Frydek-Mystek Town Hall will find a firm that will remove the barrels with 500,000 litres of the chemicals, which will cost millions of crowns, Pobucky said. In the nearby town of Bohumin, where a firm, probably the same, deposited 150,000 litres of waste, the owner is expected to remove the barrels with waste, too.
