The Czech Republic on Thursday marked Saint Wenceslas Day, the anniversary of the murder of medieval Czech Duke Wenceslas. In a sermon delivered at the Saint Wenceslas Pilgrimage, Prague Archbishop Cardinal Dominik Duka spoke about the upcoming general election, urging Czechs to participate. The Roman Catholic Church renewed the tradition of the St Wenceslas national pilgrimage in 2003.
