Czechoslovak Super Cup cancelled on police request

The Czechoslovak Super Cup between the footballers of Slovan Bratislava and Slavia Praha will not take place on June 29 as scheduled as it was cancelled for security reasons at the request of the police in Bratislava, Martin Malik, head of the FACR federation, told journalists. The regional police command in Bratislava said there was a shortage of police officers because they would be patrolling at schools and at the time of the planned match also at a nearby festival.
