Charles University (UK) Rector Tomas Zima has decided that two master titles be withdrawn from a graduate over plagiarism, UK spokeswoman Vaclav Hajek told CTK today, adding that this is for the first time that titles have been withdrawn for this reason. The person involved is a graduate from the UK's Hussite Theologian Faculty, who completed studies of two programmes at the faculty and successfully defended his theses on September 26, 2017. The UK's control commission found out that the theses amounted to plagiarism, Hajek said.
