Czech, Slovak regions to build closer cooperation

The Association of Regions of the Czech Republic (AKCR) and the Slovak Association of Self-Regions SK8 agreed on forming a joint working group at their meeting on Tuesday, AKCR deputy chairman Jiri Behounek has told journalists. The group is to help deal with professional questions the self-rule bodies of both countries are in charge of. It may be founded within six weeks, Behounek said.
