Czech road racing cyclist Cerny to join Elite World Tour

Josef Cerny, 25, will become another Czech road racing cyclist in the elite World Tour, transferring from the Elkov Author team in Hradec Kralove, east Bohemia, to the American BMC Racing, he revealed in a press release. BMC Racing will be taken over by the CCC Polish company as of the new season. Cerny, a double champion of the Czech Republic, raced for the CCC lower division team in the past. In the new team, Cerny will meet, for instance, Belgian Greg Van Avermaet, an Olympic winner from Rio de Janeiro.
