Czech Republic sees smallest rise in new daily Covid cases since mid-December

The Czech Republic registered 2,376 Covid-19 cases on Sunday, the lowest daily rise since December 13 and about 260 less than a week ago, and 84 coronavirus deaths were reported, data released by the Health Ministry show. On Sunday, 5,621 people with Covid-19 were being treated in hospital, including 1,021 in a serious condition. A week ago, there had been 830 more hospitalised coronavirus patients. The total death toll stands at 15,453.
