Czech Republic registers 203 new Covid cases on Thursday

Laboratories confirmed 203 new Covid cases on Thursday in the Czech Republic, ten more than a week ago despite the descending trend of recent weeks, and the reproduction number rose slightly from 0.85 to 0.9, data from the health ministry show. The reproduction number R, indicating the number of people infected by one positive person, has remained below 1.0 for 12 days, which means the epidemic is slowing down. The incidence rate is about 12 newly infected per 100,000 population in the past seven days.
