Czech Republic registers 121 new Covid cases on Monday

The Czech Republic registered 121 new Covid-19 cases on Monday, 55 less than a week ago, and saw the smallest daily increase in case numbers since last summer, data from the health ministry show. The reproduction number R, which shows how many people contract the virus from one infected person on average, has increased slightly again, from 0.84 to 0.88. Nevertheless, it is still below the breaking point 1, thus still indicating a slowdown of the pandemic.
