The number of Covid-19 cases increased by 4,310 on Monday, which was the biggest number for this day since the start of the epidemic in March, according to data released by the Czech Health Ministry on Tuesday morning. Since March 1, when the first cases of Covid-19 appeared, over 121,000 people have been infected. Almost one-half of them has recovered. The number of active infections stands at around 62,000. In most cases, the course of the illness has been mild or without any symptoms. A total of 2,146 people are now hospitalised, 426 of them in a serious condition.
