Face masks will be made obligatory in interior public spaces, such as shops, post offices, all means of public transport as well as schools outside classrooms in the Czech Republic from Sept. 1 with a view to curbing the spread of coronavirus, Health Minister Adam Vojtech told reporters on Monday. The measure is aimed at preventing the Covid-19 epidemic at the beginning of the school year when contacts between people as well as travelling will be more frequent, Vojtech said after a meeting of the Government Council for Health Risks.
