More than 20,000 people have been infected with Covid-19 in the Czech Republic in the 169 days since the outbreak of the epidemic in early March, while 121 new cases were recorded on Sunday, their number totalling 20,012, according to the Health Ministry's data released on Monday morning. Some 70 percent of those who contracted the virus have recovered. There are currently a record 5,816 active infections and 397 patients with Covid-19 have died in the country so far.
