Czech Rep supports British request for Brexit postponement

The Czech Republic will support the British request for a Brexit postponement in the European Council this week, Prime Minister Andrej Babis said at a meeting of the lower house European affairs committee on Wednesday. He added that he cannot imagine any country to block the EU summit and thus cause a no-deal Brexit. He also noted that it would be better for Czechs if Britain changed its mind and stayed in the EU eventually.
