Czech party leaders agree on two special lower house sessions

The leaders of the Civic Democrats (ODS), Social Democrats (CSSD), Pirates, TOP 09 and Christian Democrats (KDU-CSL) agreed at a meeting with the Mayors and Independents (STAN) on Wednesday on holding two extraordinary sessions of the Czech Chamber of Deputies, STAN head Petr Gazdik has said. The first session will deal with the personnel policy of Prime Minister and ANO chairman Andrej Babis, whose ANO minority cabinet resigned after it lost a vote of confidence in the Chamber of Deputies. The other session is to restrict the activities of such a caretaker government, which the Civic Democrats proposed.
