Czech MPs postpone debate on EC audit of PM's interest conflict

The Chamber of Deputies, the lower house of Czech parliament, interrupted a debate on the European Commission's (EC) audit report on Prime Minister Andrej Babis's suspected conflict of interest on Thursday until its controlling committee assessed it, giving the committee end-January 2020 as deadline. The two-hour debate about the audit was accompanied by verbal clashes between the opposition and Babis's ANO movement.
