November 20th, 2018

The minimum monthly wage will increase from 12,200 to 13,350 crowns as of January, the Czech coalition government of Andrej Babis (ANO) decided today, Labour and Social Affairs Minister Jana Malacova (Social Democrats, CSSD) said on Twitter. Last week, the ANO movement and the Social Democrats agreed on this at a Tripartite meeting, including representatives of the government, the labour unions and the employers. Trade unions support the increase, while the employers are against it.
