Czech govt MPs support emergency state until May 25, opposition against

MPs of the governing ANO and Social Democrats (CSSD)will support the extension of the state of national emergency in the Czech Republic until May 25 as the cabinet plans, while the opposition parties support only a shorter prolongation, their representatives said on Tuesday. The parties gave press conferences before the Chamber of Deputies' vote on the emergency prolongation during the coronavirus crisis, as proposed by the ANO-CSSD minority government.
