Czech Foreign Minister supports Venezuela's opposition efforts

The Czech Republic supports the efforts of the Venezuelan opposition to restore democracy and the rule of law in the country, Foreign Minister Tomas Petricek said on Twitter today, advocating a nonviolent regime change. Petricek also remembered the 30th anniversary of the nonviolent Velvet Revolution that toppled the Communist regime in Czechoslovakia. On Wednesday, Petricek said the Czech Republic will coordinate its stance and further steps with its European partners.
