Czech environmentalists welcome EU carbon neutrality deal

Czech environmentalists have welcomed the EU countries' deal to reach carbon neutrality by 2050 and at the same time, they called for fast steps in this respect and more ambitious goals in climate protection in a press release on Friday. Prime Minister Andrej Babis said in the night that the Czech Republic could join the EU ambition to reach carbon neutrality by 2050 as a mention of nuclear power was included in the European Council meeting's conclusion.
